Urinary Tract Infection Cause - Diabetes

Healthy-best.blogspot.com- Urinary tract infections are most often caused by infection of the bacteria Escherichia coli (e. Coli), in the urinary tract. These bacteria are actually living in the digestive tract but can infect and multiply in the urinary tract.
Infection occurs when bacteria enter the urinary tract through holes pissing. In women, the condition generally occurs due to the inappropriate way of cleaning the anal area after defecating.
Hand or toilet paper used to cleanse the anus could accidentally touch holes pissing, so make the bacteria get into the urinary tract.
Bacteria that already are in the urinary tract, can cause an infection of the urethra (urethritis), bladder infection (cystitis), to the infection of the ureter (ureteritis) and kidney infection (as pyelonephritis).
Risk Factors Of Urinary Tract Infection
Compared to men, women are more at risk of experiencing a urinary tract infection. This is because the female urethra is shorter, so the bacteria more easily reach the bladder.
Some other conditions that can increase the risk of urinary tract infection are:
• Pregnant.
• Have experienced urinary tract infections earlier.
• Menopause because declining hormone levels of estrogen post-menopause, would change the normal bacteria levels in the vagina.
• Recently underwent a surgical procedure on the urinary tract.
• The use of urine catheter for the long term.
• Born with abnormalities of the urinary tract conditions.
• Blockage of the urinary tract, for example, because of kidney stones or an enlarged prostate gland. These conditions make difficult empty bladder and trigger the proliferation of bacteria.
• The weak immune system, for example, due to diabetes or are undergoing chemotherapy.
• The use of condoms with spermicides lubricants in men. These types of condoms can cause a vaginal infection, urinary tract infection, and triggers.
